Rivington, 1816. xii, 382pp, full calf, raised bands, spine in six panels, morocco title label to second panel, remaining panels with central cross from which emanate flower head and leaf tools in blind, bands bordered with gilt rules, date to foot in gilt, covers with double fillet border, all edges marbled. Slightly rubbed to extremities, internally fairly bright and clean. From the library of Earl Eldon, with his name and bookplate to reverse of front endpaper. First Edition. Full Calf. Good+. 8vo.

Temple Rare Books is a division of Temple Bookbinders, which has been established for nearly twenty years. The bookshop is based within the bindery building. It is open between 10am and 4pm weekdays, any other times by appointment. All books listed on the website can be examined here, but please let us know first if you are travelling, so that we can make sure it is still available. Not all of the books in the shop are listed on the website. We are members of the PBFA and ABA and exhibit at several of their book fairs, please see our fairs / events page. We attend many auctions and are happy to execute commission bids on your behalf.
