Condition: Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket

D Banks, Leeds, 1866. Edition Unstated. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. 7 volumes, dark red covers with gilt decoration and textured gilt image of large building on front covers and gilt block edges. Volumes 1-6 contain many colour prints with protective leaves and accompanying text, all plates are present. The scarce Volume 7 contains "facsimile" autographs of all subscribers. The leather is rubbed on edges, raised bands and joints, binding is sound on all volumes, Volume 5 has lost part of the spine over the upper 5 cm. There is light foxing in all first six volumes, occasionally a shadow image of the plate is showing on the page behind the plate. Some end-papers are marked from the glue used in the binding.
