Scarce in the trade, an original lithograph pulled from the pages of the French modernist art journal XXe Siecle, No. 41, for Robert Indiana, printed in 1973. Measures 12 1/4" x 9 1/2" high and wide, respectively. Fine condition, suitable for framing and hanging. In full, glorious color. A Wikipedia entry devoted to him notes that Robert Indiana was born Robert Clark, was born in 1928 and died in 2018, and was an American artist associated with the Pop Art movement. Well known for creating works in media including paper (silk screen) and Cor-ten steel. One of a Limited Edition of 2000 unnumbered, unsigned lithographs, but pulled by Mourlot of Paris.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
