Original blue cloth, gilt-lettered on spine. FIRST COLLECTED EDITION combining the famous series of five incunabula catalogues issued by Lathrop C. Harper between 1927 and 1930 and adding a single leaf of Additions and Corrections. The compiler E. Miriam Lone wrote: "I have tried to give in this catalogue: Author, Title, Place, Printer, Date, and where possible, the Collation and Provenance.This 'Selection' in five parts, is also somewhat of a 'First' being, I believe, the first catalogue issued by an American bookseller exclusively devoted to Fifteenth-century books, fully described with collations, notes, etc."An index is included at end.
