Good. 1987 signed and inscribed first edition, Penobscot Marine Museum (Searsport, Maine), 6 x 9 inches tall stapled paperbound in red printed covers, illustrated with black-and-white photographs and drawings, [6], 21 pp. Slight rubbing and edgewear to covers. Bumping to upper tip of booklet, with creasing to upper page tips throughout. Nicely inscribed and signed by the author on the title page in the year of issue. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this local history. ~UU~ A biography of Capt. Samuel Houston (1753-1835), grandson of an original proprietor of Belfast, Maine, who served in Gen. George Washington's guard during part of his Revolutionary War service from 1776-1779.
