Straight, tight and clean with no markings, spine-end and corner wear, slight color fading. Dustjacket price-clipped, edge nicks, large losses to head and heel of spine and rear panel, wear to flap folds, in new Brodart sleeve. Dr. Tenenbaum's story of Polish Jewry before, during, and after World War II, based on first hand interview accounts and personal diaries. Examines the lives of the 3.5 million Jews in Poland before the war, the resistance, victories and defeats encountered from 1939-1945, and the New Polish efforts of reconstruction.
