In off-white illustrated cloth covered boards with elaborate gilt stamping to cover and spine depicting the school's entrance and official seal. The binding, which was once white, is now grey with soiling. Bumping to top corners. Foxing and occasional smudge marks to interior. This interesting book was given to prospective students. There is a fold-out map of the campus to the front of the book printed on tissue. It is followed by a list of the advisory board and faculty, and an overview of the school, including course listings and descriptions of classes. A sample schedule including a 15 period day starting at 8:40 am and continuing until 9:40 pm and a list of costs is also included. Annual board and tuition was $700 - $750 (excluding special courses, which were billed at an additional fee). There is a description of each building, many quite architecturally distinctive, on the campus. Interspersed throughout are many pages of photographs showing the exterior of each of the buildings, numerous interior shots, and pictures of bridges.There are also photos showing school activities. At the end of the book is a description of Washington DC with 10 pages of photos depicting monuments and buildings. 126 pages. MD/102318.
