San Francisco: Deep Forest, 1992. Critique of Arthur M. Schlesinger. Pamphlet: 8p. plus [3]p appended materials including a line map and a page of Cherokee in facsimile. Softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch stapled printed wraps, one of a run of only 100, cover bears a couple small stains and nicks, a sound copy that is clean and unmarked within. A.M.Schlesinger's Pulitzer-winning Age of Jackson omits mention of "Indian removal" (numerous dead and violated, all homeless) of the Cherokees, then the single literate indigenous tribe in the United States. Presidents Monroe and JQ Adams opposed removal, Andrew Jackson however made it happen. AMS was also an advisor to the anonymous writer of JFK's Profiles in Courage which became "the only ghost-written book in history to win a Pulitzer Prize
