Second edition of this children's study of Asian lands. Each engraving is numbered and complimented by a corresponding description. The pictures and text cover a number of Asian countries, touching on their history, geography and culture. For example the the scenes which accompany the description of China include an image of the Great Wall, the gathering of leaves of a tea plant, and the feast of Lanterns.
