A solid, very presentable copy of the 1932 1st edition (with both the Scribner colophon and the letter 'A' at the copyright page). Tight and Near Fine (just a touch of faint offsetting to the endsheets) in a bright, price-intact, VG- to VG example of the fragile, Cleonikes Damianakes-illustrated dustjacket, with light creasing along the edges and wear at the tips. Also, a degree of mild spotting and fading to the spine and light chipping (with some loss to the titling) at the spine crown. Still though, an attractive, well-preserved example of Zelda Fitgerald's only novel. the startlingly candid record of "the marriage of a young artist (to whom success came very early) with a Southern girl who decided 'to move brightly along high places and stop to trespass and admire'"
