About This Item

London, United Kingdom: Hodder and Stoughton, 1934. Bound in the publishers slate blue board with black title lettering to spine and front board. This is the first printing of this scarce Simon Templar collection of three Saint stories. 'First printed ... 1934' printed on the verso of the title page as denotes the first impression. A well used and fairly worn copy although the book is still well bound and all pages are present. The boards are marked and shelfworn to the edges as is the spine which has some fraying to the head and tail. There is a discreet long standing small gift inscription to the front free endpaper. A somewhat well used copy but still perfectly readable. Inexplicably scarce in the first printing. Let me know if you need images or further information regarding this book and I will happily oblige.. First Edition. Near Good/No Jacket. FIRST EDITION.

Synopsis

Three short stories. Clasic Saint. > The Saint tangles with a disappearing corpse, a fortune in stolen jewels and a lovely lady in distress in a new set of adventures.
