Three matching volumes in full leather with red spine labels and gilt decoration. Leather is well rubbed, corners are bumped and lightly scuffed, one spine label on Vol II Part I is partially missing. All three volumes have marbled en-papers and book plates for "Maclean of Ardgour" on the inside of the front cover. Sound binding with some wear on joints. Clean pages with light foxing throughout. Volume I is published by Bunny and Gold and has a dedication to "J Holden Strutt" dated November 1801. An account of "Coursing; at the Flickston Meeting commencing February 24 1802" is printed on the reverse of the last page of the index. 17 of the 19 listed plates are present. Volume II is in two separately bound parts and published subsequent to Volume I by The Philanthropic Society. Plates for Part I are listed at the rear, 13 of the 14 listed are present, pages 313, 314 and the associated plate of "The Pike" are missing. List of plates is at the front of Part II, 21 of the 25 listed are present.
