Brown decorated cloth over boards, leather gilt spine label ("Humprey's Ruoff Homeopathy"), xxxi, 254 pages, Index. Reading copy: waterstained, and some foxing, cloth on covers rippled, corners and spine ends bumped, previous owner wrote some interesting comments in margins of the two Prefaces, some pencil figuring on rear paste-down.
