K. Thienemanns, 1925. Hardcover. Very Good. 88 pages. 7-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches. Folklore tale of a mountain spirit. Text in German. Illustrated with two color plates and 14 images printed in black ink. First published in the 1780s by the German author and collctor of folktales, Johann Karl August Musaus. A very good copy in a dust jacket with tears to the spine folds and a 2-inch stain on the spine edge of the cover.
