London : F. P. & S., circa 1895, 1895. First Edition. Hardback. Fair to good copy in the original red cloth. Gilt and black-tooled illustrations and titles to front panel. Spine and panel edges somewhat worn with some edge tears. The New Tower Bridge plate has been torn and tape repaired - no loss. Some minor edge tears elsewhere. Further scans, images etc. and additional bibliographical material available on request. ; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 24 pages; A quite rare 19th century hardback book illustrated with views of Victorian London. The plates are slightly glossy in nature and are hinged so they fold out concertina style. Includes the New Tower Bridge ; St.Pauls Cathedral ; London Bridge ; River Thames etc. Subjects: London -- Pictorial works -- Description and travel -- 19th century. 24p. of plates, 4p. of index and map; 22cm.
