Adprint Ltd, London, 1950. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: John Ulsler. 248 pages, last 2 blank, list of illustrations. Illustrated endpapers, showing a cowboy on a horse overlooking a small ranch -- illustration is in black and white. Within the text there are 20 black-and-white illustrations by John Ulsler. Illustrated/photographic boards, the illustration being executed by J. Dreany, and encompasses both front and back boards and shows a shootout in a small town and on the top right-hand corner of the front panel burst a photograph of Roy Rogers, with black, orange and blue writing on the front panel and spine. The head and the heel of the spine are bumped and there is slight rubbing to the book corners. There is a small 0.25 " split in the top front spine gutter edge. There are dust marks, browning and foxing to the paper edges. Offset tanning and foxing to the endpapers and there is slight, browning to the internal pages as well. On the contents page lower right-hand corner has been roughly torn. A book form of the rousing Western serial for children -- Roy Rogers. This is the English edition and has on the spine and title page " Authorised Edition ". This is the first UK edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
