Grosset & Dunlap: NY. Good with no dust jacket. 1908. Hardcover. Good hardcover with clean pages. No dust jacket. Covers has some wear and fraying. Text on spine is mostly faded or rubbed off. Front cover is scuffed and slightly stained, but still legible. Binding is cracked in several places and the illustration between pages 96 and 97 is free of the binding, but no other pages appear to be missing or loose. Pocket with previous owner's information is attached to the inside of the front cover. Previous owner left a small, thin ruler inside the front cover. Back end page is stained. Pages are scuffed and lightly stained. ; The Rover Boys; Vol. 12; 7.75 X 5.25 X 1.25 inches; 235 pages; The Rover Boys series was part of the Stratemeyer Syndicate books, written under the pseudonym of Arthur M. Winfield. The Rover Boys the first series produced by Edward Stratemeyer, beginning in 1899 and became the longest running of the Stratemeyer series. All of the Syndicate books are written by ghost writers using the same pseudonym. .
