Limited edition, copy 315 of 380 (350 for sale), signed by Max Beerbohm. Twenty three tipped-in color plates on card stock with printed tissue guards, including the frontispiece. Beerbohm notes, "Byron, Disraeli, and Rossetti -- these seem to me the three most interesting men that England had in the nineteenth century, England had plenty of greater men." Bookplate, crisp copy, back cover a tinge mottled.
