Schiaffino (1939-2009) was a magazine cover model, began acting after Neorealism cinema of the 1950s. Notable films: "Piece of the Sky" (1959), "La sfida" (1958), several peplums (gladiator). Originally billed as the "Italian Hedy Lamarr," marred into jet-set.
