About This Item
Paris: Librairie Philosophique J. Vrin, 1932. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Stiff tan printed wrappers with flaps. 268pp. Very good. Outer wrappers (only) mildly age toned and spine a tad darkened, else tight -- and internally bright and fine. Attractive first edition of this study awarded the Marcelin Guérin prize by the Académie Françoise in 1933. Delattre (1880-1950) was a writer, poet, translator and English literature professor at the Sorbonne. Nice copy of this scarce title.
