Boston: W.J. Reynolds & Company, 1855. First edition. Hardcover. Near Very Good. 8vo. [2], 7-218, [6] (pages of publisher's advertisements), [2] pp. Original purple blindstamped publisher's cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Illustrated by a frontispiece and a vignette title page, with additional full-page and in-text illustrations. The Rollo series was aimed at children, concerning a comedic character who traveled around the world. The series was intended to teach children about history and geography. Near Very Good with notable traces of wear to the corners and fading to the cloth (spine faded to brown).
