Kaapstad-Amsterdam: H.A.U.M., 1912 Second edition in hardcover with gilt lettering and illustration on front board. 330 pages, 8 colour plates, 23 other plates and illustrations, original olive green cloth titled and decorated gilt on the upper cover and spine. Tweede Druk. (Deel I), from South African Bibliography, Volume 3, page 3, 'This volume designated "Deel I" has the same contents as the 1904 edition, with some text corrections and an additional chapter on Burchell. "Deel II" was never published. ' Minor rubbing to boards, light soiling to edges, short scrape to foredge of text block that has cause small edge tears to about 15 pages. Very Good. Photographs on request.
