Dust jacket is in 2 parts, split at the left-hand edge of the front cover, top edge of text block gilded, offset tanning of the end pages, gift inscription dated 1917 to a previous owner from his sincere friend on the half title page. No other damage. Michael Fairless was the pseudonym for Margaret Fairless Barber. Peace making in the Religious Spirit, and life on the Sussex Downs.
