UK: Trend, 2010. 1st Edition . Soft cover. As New. 5" X 8. p/b 360 pages, condition is As New. The Derumba are a four piece band from Dundee who are on the verge of being signed by a major record label. Their manager, Vince, has only one problem with the band, Felix, their roadie. Vince feels that Felix has too much influence over the band and is constantly leading them astray, which is detriment to his hard work in attempting to portray the bands image in a positive light. Due to a case of mistaken identity, Felix is accused of cheating on his girlfriend and Vince uses this opportunity to get back at Felix by encouraging the rumours. After the resultant break up, Felix goes on a downward spiral of a continuous drink and drugs binge. Meanwhile, the band secure a support slot for an up and coming tour with a major rock group. This helpfully gets them signed up and their debut single is recorded and pushed through for release. It enters the top ten which puts more pressure on Felix as he begins receiving more attention than the band. There is talk behind the scenes that things are not as they seem and after endless nights of too much drugs and casual sex, can Felix stay sober enough to see the cracks in the bond with his childhood friends?
