London: Printed for G. Riley, No 33, Ludgate Street and sold by S. Hazard, Bookseller, Bath, 1793 Book. Fair. Full leather. 6 volume set. Vol 1 - Mythology made easy - xvi, 252 pages + frontispiece and 4 pages of adverts inserted in the prelims ESTC T213276. Vol 2 - Elements of ancient and universal history - [vi], 235, [13] pages + frontispiece ESTC N45782, but with additional leaves of adverts at the rear. Vol 3 - A new history of Greece - 20, 232, [4] pages + frontispiece ESTC T186676. Vol 4 - A biographical history of the Roman empire - [viii], 243, [5] pages + frontispiece not listed on ESTC. Vol 5 - A new biographical and chronological history of England - [iv], 254, [ii] pages + frontispiece not listed on ESTC. Vol 6 - A new moral system of geography third edition dated 1792. - [iv], 250 pages + frontispiece and folding map ESTC T186967 the folding map is dated 1790 and has a long tear through north America, this has an old sewn repair. Vol 6 without the 4 pages of adverts described in ESTC. Vols 1-5 have general title pages as well as for the individual volume, vol 6 just has its own title page. Bindings are full leather, but very worn and one board detached. Front free end papers are pasted down, and some lack rfeps also. Pencil lines spotting and staining to some volumes more than others. Hole to pages 93/4 of vol 1. Heads of title pages of Vol 5 trimmed at the head. Evidently well used..
