A solid, very well-preserved copy to boot of the 1976 stated 1st edition. Clean and Near Fine (very light offsetting along the edges) in a crisp, price-clipped, VG+ to Near Fine dustjacket, with very light soilig to the rear panel. Tall quarto, Introductory essay ("Portraits: a Meditation on Likeness") by Harold Rosenberg. Avedon's remarkable portraits, in crisp black-and-white, throughout.
