Reminiscences of life in Ohio in the nineteenth century with recollections of annual religious meetings, family history, prison reform in Indiana, National Prison Congress at Saratoga Springs, National Prison Association meeting in Detroit, General Grant's Indian policy, Quakers, etc. Moderate soiling on boards, front hinge beginning to crack and a few smudges noted on several pages but no handwriting or bookplates noted. Corners slightly softened.
