Bound in publisher's green cloth with bright gilt titles on front and spine. t.e.g. 54 water color plates, captioned below each illustration. A travel book on the Rhine, from Rotterdam into Switzerland, including tributaries like the Neckar, Main and Moselle. Square, tight and clean throughout. Mild wear to edges and tips. Some surface soiling with spotting to the lower board edges. No interior foxing. Lacking scarce dust-jacket. A pretty collectable copy.
