London: Richard Bentley publisher. Very Good- with No dust jacket as issued. 1854. First Edition. Hardcover. ; Brown cloth with minor fading to spine. Very light general wear to covers. Top page edges darkened with soiling. Some compression of spine ends. Owner name on reverse of frontis has some bleed through on frontis illustration. Owner name on tile page states : W. F. Herring, first edition, very rare." Both names are in an old style hand. There is a brown stain on the rear endpaper that shows in diminishing size and intensity through the last 5 sheets. Hinge papers are split but hinge is tight with no separation at hinge. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 352 pages .
