Pages clean and intact, previous owner's info on 1st blank endpage, and small notes about the book (in ink) on last blank endpage, otherwise unmarked. Age tanning to pages and inside covers. Green cloth hardcover has light scuffing, slight wear to corners and one light crease on front, gilt decoration on spine. "Clym Yeobright, native of Egdon Heath, returns from the bright society of Paris and, as any reader of Hardy knows, all is not smooth.
