Interviewed by an admiring Darrell Schweitzer in 1986, Wall explained that he had no particular feeling for fantasy, though he enjoyed Tolkien "because of the maps." He further remarked: "I have a satirical element in my make-up because I think humanity is a failure, its history is of stupidity, illogicality and double-think, and it is inevitably doomed to nuclear destruction through that same stupidity." 7.25'' x 5''.
