Jasserand, Ambassadeur de France en Washington, hommage de G. Eiffel." Jean Jules Jasserand (1855-1932) was ambassador in Washington beginning in 1903. Spine slightly cocked; crown, heel, and edges and corners of boards bumped and rubbed; small spots on back cover, light rubbing/scuffing to gilt at page edges, endpapers sunned at edges, a bit of disoloration to front pastedown, light sunning to page margins, corner of foldout creased. Navy blue cloth-backed flexible boards, gilt lettering, all edges gilt, vii, 258 pp., 79 figs. including one foldout. Size: 8vo
