Washington, D.C: Government Printing Office. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. 12mo 7" - 7. Sturdy, tightly bound, internally clean hardcover copy, with moderately rubbed extremities, neat and tidy paste-downs; not ex-library. Various publication dates of the contents, though the title page says 1880. Tipped-in memo shows dates from 1880-1898 (see below). Marbled paper over boards, blue cloth-backed, leather labels on spine, chipped and unreadable. Bumping to spine head and foot, with fraying thereto. Book-plate affixed neatly. Text toned, with a few tape repairs. This is actually a bound volume of several pamphlets, including "Tests of Anti-Corrosive and Anti-Fouling Paints," "Criticism of the U.S.S. Dolphin," "Report of the Two Kinds of Coal." Bound in is a mimeographed page listing the titles of the pamphlets and the initials of the previous owner, W.D.W. (William D. Weaver). Each is paginated separately, and there are several fold-outs, tables and other black-and-white illustrations.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
