Report on the construction of the New Croton Aqueduct, which replaced the existing water supply for New York City, the Old Croton Aqueduct. The Report is illustrated with photogravures of the aqueduct under construction.

The New Croton Aqueduct still supplies water to the city today. It is one of 3 supply systems and runs from the New Croton Reservoir (Westchester County) to the Jerome Park Reservoir in the Bronx.

Small folio, frontispiece, 23 photogravure plates, folding tables, 4 maps, blueprints. Bound in full terra cotta gilt buckram with gold decoration on cover and gilt title on spine. Corners rubbed, spine slightly rubbed, past insect damage made a hole beginning at plate no. 25 through to the end, which falls in the upper margin outside the printed area of most plates, otherwise sound. Deaccessed from the Colorado College Library; library sticker inside front cover. OCLC: 977564819 records 2 copies, at the University of Toronto.
