Unopened issue of the Journal, Vol XXVIII, dated August 1891, with full page botanical plates of plants from British Baluchistan (at the time a province of British India, and later Pakistan) by J. H. Lace, and printed on thick paper stock. With folding map of Baluchistan showing the route of Lace's botanical expedition. Issue also includes 4pp article by T. Kirk to Sir Joseph Hooker about Antarctic plants. Inspired by Flora Antarctica, Kirk traveled to sub Antarctic islands to see the plants in person. Blue printed paper wrappers. 8vo, pp255-330. Slightly chipped at spine, small chip to inner corner front wrapper. The plates bright and clean.
