Color photo frontispiece showing Mr. Rosborough fishing the Williamson River. Text illustrations. Foreword by Fred Locke, retired Chief of Habitat, Oregon State Game Commission. With a size 12 dry fly dressed by Fred Locke laid-in the book. The book was written in a personal style that reaches back to an era of fly fishing not to be seen again, a return to the good old days, which probably weren’t so hot, either; after all, each generation complains that the fishing is never as good as it once was in granddaddy’s day. Touche, Polly. The book is bound in full green art leather with gilt titles on the spine and gold decorations on the front cover. Clear plastic dust jacket. A nice book. Fine in a fine dust jacket.. Color photo frontispiece. Text illustrations. A brief history about the publication of this book. A total of 600 copies were published: 150 in full green Oasis leather with leather slip case; 150 copies in half green Oasis leather and cloth with a cloth slip case; 300 copies in green art leather with gilt titles and decorations. Polly's long-time friend and neighbor, Paul Pursell of Chiloquin, Oregon, designed the front cover illustration, although he wasn't given credit for his work; he also edited Polly's manuscript before publication, again without recognition. A nice book. Fine in a fine clear plastic dust jacket.. Signed by Author.
