[Chicago]: The University of Chicago Press [1980], 1980. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 2 vol. 8vo. [7], 2-218, [2]; [7], 2-143, [3] pp. Black cloth with gold lettering on the spines. Edited by G.E.M. Anscombe and G.H. Von Wright. Translated by G.E.M. Anscombe. Text in German and English. Wittgenstein worked extensively on the philosophy of psychology between 1946 to 1949. Some of his work on the subject appears in the second part of his Philosophical Investigations, some of his work also appears in Zettel. These volumes contain Wittgenstein's writings on relevant concepts such as expectation, sensation, knowledge of the sensations of other persons, among others. Volume one with a concavity to its spine and a tiny dampspot to its jacket's reverse; volume two is in excellent condition.
