The perils of lose morals on a woman and her pain at cheating on her husband. TURN OF THE CENTURY, so horrid it was a major flob and considered pornagraphic. A Great and rare collectible book, excellent clean and right condition, has former owners name inscribed inside front cover, 278 pages.

Richard Sare. London.,1708. Third Edition. 8vo. (7.8 x 5 inches). xvi, 192pp, 16pp, including 4pp of publishers adverts. Three previous owners names, two dated -1720 & 1762, on front blank free endpaper. Overall a very good clean copy in contemporary full red morocco. Spine with raised bands, the compartments decoratively tooled and lettered in gilt. Elaborate gilt panneling on boards with floral and vine corner decorations. All within a double ruled border. Marbled endpapers. The book has been rebacked with the original spine laid down. The inner hinges marbled paper repaired to match. Some cracking and loss to the old leather. The outer corners rubbed and bumped. Overall this is still an attractive early 18th century binding.:

Woodcut initials and tailpieces. Text in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. Original vellum, with title inked onto spine. First gathering loose, but otherwise crisp, bright and clean, with minor occasional spots.

The first edition of this collection of theses on the linguistic style of the New Testament, including Pfochenius's Diatribe de Linguae Graecae Novi Testamenti Puritate.

States "In Two Volumes" on title page, but text contains all 15 of the topics listed on the title page. Very scarce. In Good Condition: lacking both boards and final leaf (end of index); lower corner of pp. 93-94 lacking, with minor loss of text; corner creasing on first and last leaves; light soiling.

Ron Hubbard’s first book of self-administered diagnostic tests, which the reader can take and evaluate on his own in conjunction with the use of the tone scale provided. Stated first edition, in printed cream-colored stiff wraps. Near Fine, clean, crisp, bright, and sharp. Some scattered mild tanning of the page margins, paper supple, not brittle. The auxiliary slotted paper disc is absent, not affecting the efficacy of the book, for as Hubbard takes care to point out to the reader, "If you lose the disc, the full list of perceptions on it are at the bottom of every page. Take a pencil and check them off one at a time, just as though they were appearing on the disc." A sharp and sparkling copy, with no markings of any kind.
