First edition, with the number one in parentheses (1) on the last page of the text. 267 pages plus four pages of ads. Channery Series, volume 3. Exterior edges scuffed with tiny frays; one 1/4" fray near the head of the spine. LACKS THE FRONTISPIECE. Former owner's name and old pricing to both sides of the front free endpaper. Occasional finger smudge in the text (no text affected). Hinges good. Mattson & Davis 18500. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
