Oxford University Press, 1931. Hardcover. Good. 1931. 272 pages. No dust jacket. Beige cloth. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

London, Edinburgh ...: Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press, 1931 A fair copy in the original decorative cloth binding with colour frontispiece and 4 black and white plates. Lacking the wrapper, however sections of the wrapper have been pasted in to the front and rear endpapers. The title page is undated but on the verso it states that this copy was made and printed in 1931. The binding is sound but the spine and board edges are darkened. There is some spotting to the foredge and the top page edges are a little grubby. Internally the book is complete and clean with light spotting, normally to margins, and occasional light marking around the stitching and on the gutter side of the plate margins. Publisher's catalogue at the rear 16 pp.
