Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, 1973. Edition Unstated. Softcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: Photographic. 200 g.; II, 3-96 pages, last page blank, foreword by Peter Laverty, Director, Art Gallery of New South Wales, introduction by Frances McCarthy and Daniel. The text is illustrated with numerous black and white photographs. Silver coloured covers with black titles to the front panel and backstrip. Creasing to the book corners and to the backstrip edges. Heavy rubbing to the book corners and book panels. There is a small, 0.25 ", split to the top left-hand corner of the front book panel. Heavy rubbing with some chipping of the silver colour to either side of the backstrip. Browning to the internal text and a previous owner has made some notations and left handling marks to the internal text. A catalogue put out in conjunction with an exhibition held at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in 1973 between 18 October-18 November showcasing new Australian art. Each artist has a small black-and-white photograph accompanying a piece of work along with a small potted history. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
