The story of the men who flew in America's secret war in Laos. I am probably wrong but I think that the Mel Gibson movie "Air America" was at least partially based on this book. A very nice copy. He is best known for his 1978 bestseller Air America, a non-fiction book which was made into a film in 1990. It is about the secret airline run by the CIA for covert operations during the Vietnam War. He later specialized in investigative work—especially about the CIA—writing pieces for the Observer Magazine. During the 1970s, prior to the publication of his bestseller, Robbins was just a freelance journalist. This Book is a great background and historical publication of the colorful years of Aviation. This Book is in really Good condition despite the Dust Jacket. Dust Jacket could be removed to reveal to sky blue underlying covers. This is a great piece of work by Author C.R. Roseberry with many interesting true stories about aviation. Book has 533 pages and over 300 historical photographs from the time period covered.

This Book describes the content of the diaries of Charles Lindbergh from 1937 to 1945 and contains 1,038 pages. Charles Lindbergh was an American hero who had a lifetime of achievements. This Book contains several sections of photos and is in Very Good condition and well preserved.

Spine is sunned so that the light blue is now grey but the black text of title is clear, spine has a few minor wrinkles, perhaps from age acting on the glue. The front and back covers are flat, clean, bright, no rips, very slightly bent corners, no spine creases, a bit of sunning around all edges. Spine is slightly rounded instead of sharply right angled. Pages edges very slightly sunned. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, flat. One page dog eared about 1/2 inch, restored flat.
