Olive green cloth covered boards with black title and spine titles. 178 pp. including Index of Proper Names. An unusual medieval epic in the form of a "chanson de geste", which tells the story of a minor noble rather than other poems of the form which deal with famous or legendary figures. This copy is very tight and sound with fresh cloth and clean, bright white, unmarred interior pages. No defects whatsoever but for a faint stamped number in the upper forecorner of the ffep, else fine. Very near fine. A very attractive copy..
