Sterling condition softcover copy, with unfurled tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear. The rear panel says "This facsimile of a manuscript volume by Ian Jackson and Ann Arnold is published by Serendipity Books in an edition of 500 copies in November 1996. It is inspired by the Indian maharaja and cricketer Ranjitsinhji (1872-1933), who was noted for the simplicty of his private life and for the extravagance of his taste in public ceremony . . . " The lovely little tome was "a mere impromptu to amuse a five-year-old child, a jeu d'esprit written in half-and-hour and illustrated in two."Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
