Excellent condition otherwise, binding is tight, pages are clean and unmarked. . Author was noted Kentucky historian, this was his fourth book. SIGNED AND WARMLY INSCRIBED by Clark to Virgil and Elizabeth (probably Virgil Steed and his wife, based on information given in the Acknowledgments). The inscription is dated April 9, 1939, so this is a very early printing. . 8vo - 8" to 9" tall. 350 pages. Signed by Author. T6 .
