NY: Grosset & Dunlap, 1928. Bound in brown illustrated cloth, stamped in black. Both the book and the matching dust jacket have an illustration of a train on the front panel. This is a well above average copy of the true first edition in the author's "Ralph" series. Apparently in the first state dust jacket due to the Tom Swift and Don Sturdy book lists in the book and on the obverse of the dust jacket. Previous owner's name and address to front free endpaper. 248 pp. + ad pages. Scarce in this protected condition. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good ++/Very Good +.
