Corners and edges are lightly frayed, corners bumped. Title on spine is faded and illegible. Paper over hinges are cracked. Light blue endpapers are soiled. White endpapers are foxed. Inscription on verso of first free endpaper. Signature of the author has been pasted on to half title page. This is the fascinating story of Lord Bentinck, one of the most well known directors of the British Turf. Nice tight binding.
