Washington DC: The National Council Against Conscription, 1955. Pamphlet. Four-panel brochure, 3x4.5 inches, date penned on rear wrap else very good condition. The proposal was that "about 100,000 youth be permitted to volunteer for six months' military training, followed by 9 1/2 years of Reserve duty, as an alternative to conscription into regular service in the armed forces.
