New York: William Morrow & Company, 1949. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo. [6], vii-x, [2], 3-374 pp. Blue cloth with red lettering and decorations on the front board. Price of $5.00 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated by several black and white photographs of the sights of New Orleans. Signed by the author on the free front endpaper. A literary history of New Orleans, written by a man who grew up in the city on the river. A Near Fine book with a faint erasure on the free front endpaper; dust jacket is Very Good with traces of edge wear and rubbing.
