About This Item

Moscow: Gosudarstvennoe Izdatiel'stvo Ministerstva Prosvesceniâ RSFSR, 1957. Hardcover. 220p., would be about a good hardcover in edgeworn pictorial dustjacket but hinge going between front free endpaper and frontispiece. Text in Russian, numerous black and white photographic illustrations. Done before the Sino-Soviet split, when the USSR still uncritically supported China's activities in Tibet.
